About the Role
As the Brand & Communication Manager for GoMart, Gojek’s newest product group, you’ll take the wheel in carving a distinct pathway and market expansion strategy for the company’s groceries business. Reporting to the Head of Groceries Product Marketing, you’ll lead the discussion and development of the GoMart brand & identity amongst various internal stakeholders, and oversee its actualization through campaigns and marketing activities. Your efforts will spearhead a clear line of focus for the Groceries platform to follow, collectively aiming to revolutionize grocery shopping in Indonesia and beyond.
What You Will DoManage and drive the development of the grocery product brand identity and devise campaigns to increase brand awareness and positive customer perception of the productLead initiatives across channels and teams to build a new and highly prospective sub-brand for GojekDesign and execute brand campaigns as a way to communicate offerings and propositions to our customersDrive the campaign’s post mortem reporting on a strategic level to uncover learnings in efforts to improve future campaigns and the overall marketing communication strategyCollaborate with multiple stakeholders to brainstorm, brief, and align on all efforts toward building an impactful and cohesive brand campaign
What You Will NeedA Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with at least 5 years of Brand Management experience; specialized work experience in the FMCG sectors, eCommerce, or tech industry is preferredHands-on experience in developing and executing a brand strategy in efforts to roll out a winning brand proposition and identity to the market A can-do attitude and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders in running a multi-channel marketing campaignStrong project management and prioritization capabilities to properly execute and track projects/strategies end-to-end; excellent cross-functional team coordination is a mustMust be able to think out of the box and have a good understanding of customer needs and expectations for an online grocery businessHave a basic understanding of data analysis, insight generation, and a strategic mind to utilize data to improve the overall course of action for all marketing activitiesHave the ability to use analytical tools such as, Basic SQL, Bigquery, Google Data Studio, Metabase is preferred and being familiarity with Tableau, and Python will be a major plus
About the Team
Our Groceries Marketing team belongs to two families in Gojek: the Gojek Marketing team and the Gojek Groceries Business team (we see it as having two big siblings at work). Our team currently consists of 4 people based in Jakarta. We oversee all things marketing for the Groceries platform - from researching and analyzing market trends and behaviors, to designing and executing fun campaigns that catch the attention of customers around the country. We're a young team (we just turned 1!) with huge ambitions to expand our Groceries platform far beyond our Indonesian shores.
We recently joined our first ever HarBolNas - Indonesia’s largest eCommerce shopping event, and successfully achieved nearly eight times year-over-year growth in 2020. Our team is driven by our shared sense of leaving a meaningful social impact in our communities. We believe our groceries platform is an innovation that has brought greater efficiency into the lives of our users, especially targeted at improving the lives of hundreds (and growing) of women in Indonesia to be # EmakJago. We have our sights set on continuing this mission, spearheading this change of how people buy their groceries in the region and beyond.
When we aren't working, you'd probably find us catching up with each other on our weekly Zoom calls, watching the latest Netflix dramas, or concocting delicious homemade dishes made from the fresh ingredients we ordered through Groceries. 😉
