About the Role
As our Pricing Analyst, you'll play a central role in regulating supply and demand imbalances across Gojek’s vast Logistics marketplace. Developing a deep understanding of the logistics industry and Gojek’s products, you’ll help design and implement the pricing strategy to ensure services are both reliable and profitable, identify problem areas, and devise pricing solutions. Through collaboration with technical and business teams, you will be at the heart of everything, from fine-scale pricing adjustments to game-changing new algorithms. Your efforts will directly enhance the efficiency and accessibility of our on-demand logistics services.
What You Will DoStrategize: Own key supply pricing objectives, defining strategy and rollout plan for major pricing projectsExperiment & Optimize: Design and test scalable solutions, execute changes, and communicate the impactAnalyze: Discover growth opportunities in business metrics by exploring Gojek’s vast data resourcesManage and build relationships: Develop relationships with engineering and data teams to ensure that business value is maximized from new technologiesCommunicate: Present findings to senior management to drive business and strategic decision-making on feature prioritization and impact analysis
What You Will NeedA Bachelor’s degree, with at least 1 year of professional experience in management consulting, investment banking, or working at a start-up or Fortune 500 company; previous relevant industry experience is a big plusSolid analytical/structured thinking skills with data-driven decision-making process Strong data management and excel spreadsheet skills; SQL, Data Studio, and/or Python proficiencies are pluses albeit not mandatory Comfortable with ambiguity while utilizing objective and methodical approachesAbility to communicate effectively and collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams across Business, Operations, Product, Data, and EngineeringA creative mindset to utilize for problem-solving; passionate about your role's purpose and Gojek's mission, with the ability to take on initiatives and challenge the status quoAbility to represent the Gojek brand at the highest level
About the Team
Our Logistics team is a division in Gojek that is responsible for a plethora of products & solutions aimed at tackling logistical issues both at the individual as well as the enterprise level. We’re a big team of 80 spread out across Jakarta, Bangalore, and Singapore. Because of our staffing dynamics, we're made up of people from a wide range of backgrounds and specialties, including business analysts, engineers, product managers, product designers, and marketing experts.
Every day throughout Southeast Asia (Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, in particular), thousands of our customers & B2C, B2B, C2C partners rely on Gojek's platform & apps to cater to their daily logistics needs. Our scalable platform is powered through a blend of our proprietary intelligent routing algorithms and ML models, which enable us to provide more than 500K+ deliveries a day reliably for our customers in an optimally cost efficient manner. Our logistics platform has witnessed a 6X growth over the last few years, and continues to present new challenges to scale up the platform and tackle complex computational problems. The primary tech & product team is based out of Bangalore, India and the business team is based out of Jakarta, Indonesia.
