About the Team
We're the Supply team who focuses on Platform under the Mobility Marketplace group. Based in Bangalore, we're small family of 15 engineers who are split into 3 sub-teams specializing in back-end, front-end & ML. Our product is a balanced combination of event driven kafka based architecture, as well as some high throughput low latency real time services. Our team’s objectives include platformization, reliability concerns of systems within the marketplace, and moving towards a composable architecture where new features can be shipped for experimentation by businesses in a matter of days.
We constantly ponder ways we can improve the availability of the systems through introducing tools to configure and operate clustered solutions. How can we be more agile in on-boarding new use-cases to enable opportunities to Mobility Marketplace business? We bounce these ideas off one another in most of our discussions. The team is actively working on key projects in solving the problem of maintaining, mobilizing, and incentivizing supply for best output. We make sure that drivers are motivated to be online for a long time in all service areas with optimum utilization.
Combating remote work has brought us even closer, with frequent catch-ups over tea and sharing ways we have been keeping ourselves sane. We are a tight-knit group made up of avid readers, amateur gamers, coffee connoisseurs and (guilty) reality show watchers. We work hard and play hard, and believe it or not, we actually enjoy each other’s company!
